Promises like this always sound appealing but often diet supplements like Slim Trim U rarely fulfill their claims. In this review we will carefully inspect Slim Trim U, summarizing the results and giving you all the necessary information about this product.

What Exactly Is Slim Trim U

Slim Trim U is one of the latest weight loss products to hit the market. This fat burning supplement can help you lose excess fat and is presented as the “miracle pill” that can enhance weight loss by simply suppressing your appetite during the day. It also claims to have the power to prevent fat from forming inside the cells and at the same time, burn off stubborn fat from areas such as the hips, thighs, stomach, etc.

Unfortunately, there is no clear information on how this weight loss pill promises to actually work inside the body.

Slim Trim U Ingredients

Most of the ingredients found in Slim Trim U have no real correlation with losing weight. The pills seem to function primarily as metabolism boosters that are meant to increase the body’s metabolic rate, increasing the number of calories burned during the day.

The main ingredients found in Slim Trim U:

  1. Bee Pollen – Many researchers believe that bee pollen helps with hormone regulation, boosting the metabolic rate. It is also speculated that bee pollen contains amino acids which can increase the metabolism by dissolving fat cells in the body. However, there still is no evidence that would prove the link between bee pollen and weight loss (1).
  2. Chinese Yam – Is a traditional plant in Asia with absolutely no relation to sweet potatoes or yams. Chinese yams are very rich in Vitamin B6, C, potassium, and fiber. With their high fiber content, Chinese yams are able to slow down the rate at which sugar is processed inside the body, preventing any cravings during the day. Just like the previous ingredient, this one also lacks solid scientific evidence (2).
  3. Barbary Wolfberry Fruit – Better known as the Goji berry, this is the fruit of the Lycium Chinese, a large shrub native to China. Goji berries possess antioxidant properties which improve eyesight, the immune system, cholesterol levels and prevent heart diseases and even cancer. A study published in 2011 concluded that 120 ml (4 oz.) of Goji berries appeared to increase the resting metabolic rate by up to 10%, as well as decrease waist circumference after 14 days over the placebo group (3). The problem is that the makers of Slim Trim U don’t provide any information on the dosage of Goji Berries in the actual product.
  4. Lotus Seed – While Lotus Seeds might not impact your weight loss results, they still carry important health benefits. Lotus Seeds include antioxidants that are useful for slowing down the aging process, as well as helping with inflammation. Chinese medicine has used Lotus Seeds to treat heart and kidney issues for decades. This amazing herb is suitable for almost everyone, however, people with diabetes should not take the Lotus Seed (4).

Other ingredients in Slim Trim U include:

  1. Green Tea – A worthwhile ingredient in any weight loss supplement. Studies indicate that green tea can elevate the basal metabolic rate as well as provide a myriad of other health benefits. Green tea also contains caffeine, giving you the needed energy boost (7).
  2. Rhubarb – It still needs to be proven whether rhubarb extract promotes weight loss. Some studies suggest positive effects while others have concluded different results. More research has to be conducted (8).
  3. Aloe Vera – Contains anti-inflammatory ingredients that can promote skin and hair health. Aloe vera can help with lowering cholesterol levels as well as blood sugar levels. However, aloe vera has no significant impact on weight loss (9).
  4. Polygonum Multiflorum – Is an ancient herbal remedy used in Chinese medicine for its anti-aging benefits. The main use of this herb is to act as a laxative but there is no link to weight loss (10).
  5. Gynostemma – Contains many important amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are important for maintaining good health, including selenium, magnesium, zinc, iron, and others. In a 2012 study, an extract of Gynostemma (Actiponin) appeared to help mice lose weight. This might suggest that Gynostemma has weight loss properties but it is still to be determined (11).
  6. Radish Seed – Radish seeds include various minerals and antioxidants which improve skin quality by reducing oxidative stress. A direct link to weight loss is yet to be found (12).
  7. Malt – Represents a good source of potassium, magnesium, and fiber. Malt can mildly improve your weight loss experience due to its high fiber content (13).
  8. Mulberry – Is often used to treat diabetes and high cholesterol levels. Mulberry may have mild laxative properties due to its fiber content (14).
  9. Hawthorn – The main property of Hawthorn is that it can alter the way our heart pumps, preventing and curing heart disease. Slim Trim U included this ingredient since many obese people suffer from heart problems (15).

Ingredients Summary

The huge problem with Slim Trim U's ingredients are the dosages. Guangzhou Zixiutang Biotechnology, the manufacturers of this product don’t provide the exact dosage of each ingredient found in Slim Trim U. This makes analyzing any scientific research on any individual ingredient very difficult. Some studies might also use different dosages than the ones found in Slim Trim U. Therefore, even if proven scientifically effective, Slim Trim U ingredients still don’t offer any solid proof.

Overall, Slim Trim U is definitely not the best weight loss solution. However, with the variety of weight loss remedies available today, you will surely find a better alternative.
